Background: Dineo Seabe is the Director of Edge Development Lab and a Post-Doctoral Economics Research Fellow at the Stellenbosch University. She holds a joint Ph.D. in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Brussels and Stellenbosch University. She also holds a Masters in Social Science Research Methods from Stellenbosch University. Her work experience includes research at the Human Sciences Research Council, Democracy, Governance and Service Delivery unit where she worked on various projects covering topics such as inclusive governance, social cohesion, CSO-government co-production, community advice offices, and violence prevention. She has a passion for people-centered development and her main research interests are the third sector broadly, public and NGO accountability as well as volunteering and public engagement.
