City responds to Kenfac building occupation

Kensington and Facreton residents are up in arms over the occupation of a derelict warehouse in the area. The residents have expressed outrage, after the building was reportedly converted into 20 apartments, despite no permission being granted for any such construction to take place. Kenfac residents association held a meeting last week to discuss the matter, saying they were not getting much help from the City of Cape Town on this matter.
