Western Cape Premier Helen Zille, together with the Children’s Hospital Trust and the Carel du Toit Centre launched the introduction of Speech-Language and Audiology services for children in Mitchells Plain. The pilot project is expected to benefit more than 20,000 children. VOC reporter Ra’eesah Isaascs was at the launch and chatted to health MEC Theuns Botha.
