Medical aid rates to increase

Consumers hard pressed by rocketing electricity, food and petrol prices coupled with a weak rand can expect to pay more for their medical cover. Over the past two weeks, most medical aids have announced their increases for next year. One analyst says most consumers will battle with the new medical aid rates, due to below-inflation salary increases and increasing debt.
