Residents in Bonteheuwel were called to an urgent meeting last night to discuss the crime situation in the community. This comes after numerous attempts to engage with authorities on the spate of gang shootings recently. The Bonteheuwel Joint Peace Forum had given police commissioner Arno Lamoer until the end of business yesterday to respond to their grievances.
