Together they discuss his parents and his hometown of Huntingdon, Massachusetts, his time in the Air Force, and how it changed him as a husband, and as a father, his experience having a second child in Turkey, and what it took to have a baby with no OBGYN on his base, as well as his retirement from the Air Force in 1992 after 22 years of service, and his move to the Upper Cumberland from North Carolina.
