Together they discuss his early childhood growing up in the Hermitage/Old Hickory area outside of Nashville, the first time he ever played an instrument in front of a group of people, his experiences playing sports all throughout high school, and his time joining the band and chorus groups, as well as how he got hooked on folk music, and formed his own trio in high school.
