Andile Mazwai, CEO of the National Stokvels Association of South Africa tells Tim Modise that stokvels have played an important role in the lives of the black community for decades and continues to do so for many citizens who work in the informal sector. He says NASASA provides members with an opportunity to speak with one voice when dealing with the financial institutions and the government.
