Health MEC in Limpopo Dr Phophi Ramathuba says her department is set to purchase more ambulances as a way of amplifying service delivery challenges. Ramathuba told Nghamula Chauke that they are addressing challenges that the department had experienced due to shortage of ambulances which was unacceptable. She has refuted allegations that the department was not adding to the fleet but merely parading the same ambulances as new ones. The MEC had earlier in the day handed over a new fleet of ambulances to the Voortrekker hospital emergency centre.
