Michael Swain from FOR SA about the Hate Speech Bill

Johann Els is talking to Michael Swain, Executive Director of Freedom of Religion South Africa (FOR SA) about the controversial Hate Speech Bill which was passed with proposals for amendments by the National Council of Provinces (Parliament’s second house) only last week. According to FOR SA, the Hate Speech Bill is a major threat to freedom of religious expression – and may see people of faith imprisoned for saying what they believe.
