Today at 6:00 pm the Premier of Gauteng Panyaza Lesufi will present the
state of the province address. According to AZAPO they anticipate that It
will, build upon what the President stated at the recent SONA. Nothing more
than a self-serving and naïve positive performance report card about the
Gauteng government's performance. The yearly accomplishment has turned
into a joke since in previous years, there have been grand promises made but
little accomplished.
AZAPO believes that Gauteng government under the leadership of the ANC
has failed to make good of the promises of Improved service delivery,
reduction of the RDP housing backlog, safe province, growing the economy
to effectively address unemployment, poverty and Inequality, development
of township economies with particular focus on SMME De Development and
reactivation of unused and dilapidated industrial centers in Garankuwa and
Babelegi, improved and quality health services, ffectively reduce load
shedding and more importantly obliterate rampant corruption.
