The Waterfront Duck Company Tours depart from the Duck Stop Ticket Kiosk at the Silo Hotel precinct at the V&A Waterfront. We offer multiple tours per day, and depending on weather and time of the year, tours last approximately 1½ hrs. The Duck is a 40-seater amphibious vehicle, built by Seahorse Amphibious, in Windsor, UK and imported into South Africa by The Waterfront Duck Company. Originally Ducks were built by The General Motors Corporation, for use in World War II – and their model’s name was “DUKW”.
