Research from Western University in Ontario has discovered a protein that can stop DNA damage in its tracks. This finding could lead to developing vaccines against cancer, to crops that can withstand harsh growing conditions. Rob Szabla, graduate student in the Department of Biochemistry at Western University in Ontario and lead on the study, joins Evan to discuss his findings.
