Canada's ranking for size of government has fallen in recent years, especially because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The new Economic Freedom of the World report published by the Fraser institute indicates this has removed economic freedom from Canadians. Matthew Mitchell, senior fellow at the Fraser Institute and contributor to the report, joins Evan to explain.
