As we celebrate matric passes, we shine the light on the teachers that make these improvements possible. Mme Johanna Mabena is the Principal of Kgothala Secondary School in the Sekhukhune District and since her arrival at the school, the matric pass rate has moved from 20% to 40% in 2017 and straight to 100% in 2023 and the school has been flourishing since.
