Remhoogte Wine Estate
A family winery, run by brothers Rob, Chris and father Murray Boustred, with vineyards on the foothills of the Simonsberg mountain, Stellenbosch. Our wines are a product of ancient soils, steep slopes and winds off the cold Atlantic Ocean. They tell the story of the vineyards, our heritage and passion for winemaking and preserving the land for future generations. Our aim is to bring joy to all who experience our wines and to make them feel a part of the Remhoogte family.
First Light Chenin Blanc
Th3 Chenin Blanc vineyard (planted in 1987) is the first vineyard to receive the morning rays of light rising over the Simonsberg mountain. The inside bunches are hand selected and fermented with the wild/indigenous yeast’s in stainless steel tanks to produce a deliciously vibrant chenin blanc with notes of lime, passion fruit and apricot with a crisp acidity.
