She is the founder and CEO of Forch Communications, which she established in 2013. She matriculated in the year 2002, she worked as a diamond analyst at De Beers in 2005 that is where she was introduced to the Deaf community. It never dawned on her that being a South African Sign Language (SASL) Interpreter would become her profession. Pursuing her passion, she studied sign language at Wits university completed level 1 to level 3, She furthered her interest in studying sign language interpreting, She then successfully completed the Professional development of South African Sign Language Practitioners training at University of Witwatersrand. Fortune Madlala is proud to be making a difference in building a communication bridge between the Deaf and Hearing world.
