The South African government's failure to address the
President of the United States on false issues raised by
Afriforum and Solidarity continues to cause damage
between the country and the United States.

The GNU government left the matter until it won the hearts of the
Trump administration, and President Ramaphosa used a
back-door approach, speaking to Elon Mask instead of
addressing Trump.
Save South Africa urges President Ramaphosa to act
quickly, as the US remains influential globally and South
Africa cannot survive on its own. The expulsion of Ebrahim
Rasool is a sign that the relationship is broken, and the
government must act quickly to maintain bilateral relations
with the US. The government has not clarified the US's lies
regarding the expulsion of Rasool, and it is time for the
government to actively engage with the Trump
administration to iron out other important issues. Save
South Africa calls on the President of South Africa to take
a leading role in engaging President Trump directly to
reaffirm the relationship South Africa has with America.
