Amanda shares her powerful journey of perseverance, overcoming countless obstacles to achieve her academic goals and now continuing on to pursue her master’s degree at Tech. She reflects on her experiences as a student, her involvement in the campus and local community, and her leadership roles within organizations such as the National Federation of the Blind of Tennessee. Amanda currently serves as president of the Upper Cumberland chapter and previously led the Tennessee Association of Guide Dog Users. Her remarkable story highlights the strength of determination and the impact of fearless advocacy.
