"The festive season is a joyful period for many, but it can also be a difficult time for some.
Vulnerable groups like Older Persons and children are the most susceptible to abuse and neglect during this period. The Western Cape Department of Social Development is mandated to protect and support those children and the elderly who have been abused or neglected.
But the Department cannot do this on its own, and today we will talk to the Western Cape Minister of Social Development, Jaco Londt about how the public can assist."
