Friends can be a blessing, a shoulder to lean on, a voice of encouragement, a reminder that you’re not alone. But Motivational Monday asks us to reflect a little deeper: how much of your strength, happiness, and direction are you placing in other people?

Depending on friends for support is healthy. Depending on them for your identity, your peace, or your purpose can leave you disappointed. People are human, they get tired, distracted, overwhelmed, and sometimes unavailable. That doesn’t mean they don’t love you; it means they’re human.
