Ever since President Trump first threatened to make Canada the 51st state and imposed new tariffs on Canadian goods back in March of last year, there’s been a renewed push to “buy Canadian.” The threats haven’t stopped—most recently, Trump said he might block the Gordie Howe International Bridge until Ottawa “treats the United States with the fairness and respect that we deserve.” So the drama continues—but how are Canadians feeling about our Southern neighbours?
