Alberta MP Matt Jeneroux has crossed the floor from the Conservatives to join Prime Minister Mark Carney’s Liberal caucus, becoming the third Conservative lawmaker in recent months to defect and inching the Liberals closer to a majority in the House of Commons. His move comes just months after announcing plans to resign, and highlights growing tensions within the Conservative Party. To talk about the drama in Ottawa guest host Tamara Cherry is joined by Vassy Kapelos, chief parliamentary correspondent and host of Power Play and Question Period for CTV, and host of The Vassy Kapelos Show.
