: Redeeming the Time
How should eternity shape your Tuesday afternoon? In this episode of Theology Tuesday with Rocky Stevenson Pastor of Benoni Bible Church, we explore Ephesians 5:15–16 (LSB) and the call to “look carefully how you walk… redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Scripture confronts the way we think about our calendars, priorities, distractions, and long-term investments. By tracing the biblical tension between God’s sovereignty over our days (Psalm 139:16; Ephesians 1:11) and our responsibility within them, we see that time is not random—it is stewardship. From Psalm 90’s plea to number our days, to 2 Corinthians 4’s eternal perspective, this episode presses one central question: Are we sacrificing the eternal on the altar of the immediate? In a distracted and decaying age, believers are called to intentional, wise living—prioritizing what lasts, cultivating Godward habits, embracing our calling, and living in light of Christ’s return. Time is brief. Eternity is certain. The wise heart learns to redeem the moments God has given. #TheologyTuesday #RedeemTheTime #Ephesians5 #BiblicalWisdom #EternalPerspective #ChristianLiving #LSB #TimeAndEternity #LiveIntentionally #GloryOfGod
