Safety Concerns in Saskatoon’s Riversdale: What Needs to Change?

The Riversdale Business Improvement District has been increasingly vocal about community safety concerns, saying crime, disorder, and a lack of coordinated support are hurting businesses, workers, and residents in the neighbourhood. They have stressed that while Riversdale needs compassionate solutions for vulnerable people, those efforts must be paired with clear safety plans, enforcement, and meaningful consultation with local businesses.
