Coming to Durban next weekend at The Seabrooke’s Theatre, Durban High School, this powerful production stars Ashley Dowds in a critically acclaimed performance as Eddie/Elvis du Pisanie - a struggling husband and father whose deep connection to Elvis Presley becomes a lifeline during the darkest moments of his life. Written by renowned South African playwright Paul Slabolepszy, the play blends humour, heartbreak, and raw honesty into a deeply human story that has been praised as “a masterclass in acting” by reviewer Sam Nupen.
