onight on Breaking Ground, we turn our attention to the upcoming Wits SRC elections, with students set to head to the polls next week Tuesday and Wednesday.
The SRC plays an important role in representing students and raising issues that affect their academic experience and daily lives at the university. With the
election approaching, students are hearing different promises, priorities and ideas from candidates and political organisations seeking their support.
Tonight, we bring those different voices into one studio. We are joined by three SRC candidates, representing Wits PYA is Lindokuhle Sibeko, Wits EFFYC is Shadrack Mothadi , and an independent candidate Collen Mansa-Makua.
