
KIO reports 12% rise in FY earnings

Fourth largest iron-ore producer in the world, Kumba Iron Ore released its full-year results today boasting a 12% rise in headline earnings per share which was largely driven by a combination of stronger pricing for the precious metal along with higher volumes and sales. The miner delivered a final cash dividend of 15 rand per share and is looking to expand. Themba Mkhwanazi, CEO of Kumba iron ore joined us on the line for a closer look at their numbers.
