Eskom faces coal shortages at 7 power plants

A delegation of Eskom executives led by interim CEO Phakamani Hadebe has been briefing MPs on the company's financial results to end-March. The utility's acting chief financial officer, Calib Cassim, today said that Eskom would continue to face going-concern challenges in the current year. Khulu Phasiwe, spokesperson at Eskom spoke with Business Day TV’s Alishia Seckam to take a look at just how fine a line Eskom is walking right now... in the midst of not only constrained capital expenditure but coal shortages too.
