ABSA denies role in Steinhoff saga

The Dutch Investors' Association, VEB is gunning for Absa, Barclays and Commerzbank - VEB says that it has notified the three banks of its intention to hold them liable for damages incurred by Steinhoff shareholders relating to the information the banks shared in a prospectus ahead of the company's Frankfurt listing which the association sees as having been misleading.
