Following the split from Barclays PLC, Barclays Africa Group was given R12 billion to facilitate changes involving the unbundling process. The group has been rebranded and is trading under its new name, Absa Group with the share code ABG. The company's new look and feel brings with it a refined African strategy but how will the 'new' Absa go about regaining market share and will there be any casualties?
