The Minister of police and the South African Police service has as part of tackling crimes against women, children and the elderly, established a total of 906 Victim Friendly Rooms. These facilities are used for taking statements and for counselling. Voice of the Cape Journalist Imogen Vollenhoven asked ministerial spokesperson Zweli Mnisi how these facilities will benefit to the victims affected by sexual crimes.
