Judge Essa Moosa recounts Madiba's release

In 1990 after 27 years of imprisonment the man, whose name had slipped into underground and international legend: Nelson Mandela, would show his face to the millions watching and waiting upon his release from Victor Verster prison. Judge Essa Moosa was one of those people, who was instrumental in the ease with which Madiba’s release was carried out. He and a group of others were responsible for the welcoming of the great anti-apartheid leader’s transportation and wellbeing directly after his release.
