Social grants increased on the 1st of April. The Older Persons and Disability grants increased by R80 to R1350 and the Child Grant will increase by R10 to R310. And even though increase is welcomed, the Black Sash maintains that social grant beneficiaries are experiencing problems with the biometric-banking system and the unexplained debit deductions.
