The GF Jooste hospital closed its doors recently, but the new Heideveld emergency Centre opened its doors at the Heideveld community Day centre. The last units at the GF Jooste hospital that were still functional, namely the emergency centre, the Thutuzela care centre and the 30-bed overnight ward will be transferred to the new care facility.
