On the 22nd of June 2020, what have been an ordinary day in the new norm as South Africa was on full Covid-19 lockdown and the world was going through a global pandemic, Nkosi Mnisi’s tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Mnisi a first year student a the Wits University in Johannesburg has documented his journey from self quarantining and the struggle of of living in isolation in this podcast series titled My Journey with Covid-19. He had to adapt to living life differently, and in isolation. Mnisi says while he has recovered from Covid-19, but the experience left permanent emotional and physical damage. He experienced medical complications from as a result of the corona virus.
