The Justice Alliance of South Africa (JSA) filed papers in the High Court in November last year in a bid to stop the broadcasting of three pornography channels on TV after 8pm. In a recent court case, they were joined by two other non-governmental organisations, the Cause for Justice and Doctors for Life. The application by the JSA to overrule the decision by Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (CASA) to allow the broadcasting of the porn channels was heard in court on Thursday.
