Two years ago, a Commission of Inquiry was established to investigate allegations of ineffective policing and a breakdown in the relationship between the people of Khayelitsha and the SAPS. Yesterday, the Khayelitsha commission of Inquiry's 500 page report was officially handed over to Premier Helen Zille. At the event, various NGO's, such as the Treatment Action Campaign and the Social Justice coalition, marched to Lookout Hill before the official release to raise awareness and show support for this process.
