Radio Sunshine Africa
Radio Sunshine Africa traces its roots to one of Southern Africa's pioneering Urban Black Gospel commercial radio brands.
Established under the historic Bop Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) alongside its sister stations, Radio Bop and Radio Mmabatho, Radio Sunshine became a beloved platform for inspirational broadcasting, uplifting music, positive values, and meaningful community engagement.
Today, under the stewardship of **AGT Media Group**, the station has entered a new and transformative era as Radio Sunshine Africa.
While honouring its rich heritage and the positive values upon which it was founded, Radio Sunshine Africa has evolved into a dedicated youth-focused African media platform, recognising the urgent need to empower and amplify the voices of young people across Africa and the global African diaspora.
As the world's youngest continent, Africa is home to a dynamic and rapidly growing youth population whose aspirations, challenges, talents, and innovations deserve meaningful representation. Radio Sunshine Africa seeks to become a trusted platform where young Africans can express themselves freely, engage in important conversations, showcase their creativity, and find solutions to the social, economic, educational, cultural, and developmental issues affecting their lives.
The station is committed to broadcasting authentic African youth content, including music, entrepreneurship, education, leadership, innovation, culture, entertainment, wellness, and social dialogue that inspires positive change and empowers the next generation of African leaders.
Radio Sunshine Africa is more than a radio station—it is a platform for youth empowerment, expression, and transformation.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to inform, inspire, educate, and empower Africa's youth while connecting young Africans across the continent and beyond.
Radio Sunshine Africa – The Authentic Voice of Africa's Youth.
Honouring our legacy. Empowering the present. I
