On the World Show with Nicky B, we’re joined by six incredible women to celebrate a new documentary called “Music Is My Life - Joseph Shabalala and Ladysmith Black Mambazo”.
It’s described as “the ‘official’ Story of an African icon, a piece of unique musical and cultural history, of how one man overcame adversity to follow his dream and spread his rare vocal style, rooted in the Zulu nation, to the rest of the world.”
Guests in studio are four of the producers, Judi Nwokedi , Carolyn Carew, the director Tsholo Mashile (all from ‘ Free Women Films ’) and Mrs Thoko Shabalala (his wife and chair of Dr Joseph Shabalala Foundation )
Also with us are the late Dr Shabalala’s sisters, Jabulile and Nomusa Shabalala
