Asthma is a complex disease.
We know it affects the lungs - causing wheezing, breathlessness, chest tightness, and coughing. We also know it is one of the most common long-term diseases affecting children, but that adults can have asthma too. So what don't we know about it - or more importantly, what do we THINK we know, that simply isn't true?
