The EFF held a press conference on Monday to state its position on developments in the country. As expected, Malema shared the party's views on the recently released section 89 independent panel report findings on the 2020 burglary at President Cyril Ramaphosa’s Phala Phala farm. Malema said the party welcomed the report’s findings and that decisions relating to Ramaphosa's fate would be made in the upcoming National Assembly debate on the report. According to Malema, deputy president DD Mabuza was a suitable candidate should Ramaphosa be removed.
