“Chiefs Are Their Own Worst Enemy”

--:--
Kaizer Chiefs in recent years have not lived up to the standards that Mzansi knows. The glamour boys last tasted silverware during the 2014/15 season when they won the DStv Premiership title. Chiefs, historically, are one of the biggest clubs on the continent, but there have been many challenges that have proven difficult to overcome. With managerial changes, lacking funds, and players not living up to their standards, Chiefs currently find themselves in 4th position on the log, a staggering 20 points behind crowned champions Mamelodi Sundowns. Looking at the statistics, Chiefs have scored the majority of their goals within the first quarter of the match, but then they allow silly mistakes and schoolboy errors to prevent them from claiming all 3 points. This is something that isn't only seen by Mzansi, in fact, Amakhosi defender Siyabonga Ngezana recently stated that the team has been its own worst enemy!

The Nedbank Cup returns to our screens this weekend with some mouthwatering fixtures taking place. The current top 4 teams in the PSL (Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates, Supersport United, and Kaizer Chiefs) are all taking place with Royal AM, Sekhukhune United, Dondal Stars, and Chippa United making up the other 4 teams. Chiefs will be looking to progress to get their hands on silverware, Sundowns will hope to continue their local dominance and Dondal Stars will be wanting to cause a severe upset when they face off against Orlando Pirates.

On the latest episode of the Fan Reaction Show, Mzansi has reacted to Chiefs defender Siyabonga Ngezana's statement and also predicted what they think will occur during the quarter-final fixtures of the Nedbank Cup!
