Two special needs children have been given the gift of hearing this youth day , thanks to the generosity of HOT1027 listeners.
Shaylee and Kwanele attend the Muriel Brand school in Brakpan where they receive specialised lessons from dedicated and caring teachers.
But neither of them were suitable candidates for cochlear implants, and the hearing aids supplied by government didn’t fit them either.
But that’s where Hot Cares stepped in.
