Joburg officially welcomes Winnie Mandela Drive

Johannesburg’s William Nicol Drive has officially been renamed to Winnie Mandela Drive. The event coincided with what would have been Winnie Madikizela-Mandela’s 87th birthday. It also came the day after the death of her granddaughter, author and activist Zoleka Mandela who died after a long battle with cancer. We speak to Joburg MMC for Corporate and Shared Services, Loyiso Masuku and Joburg Roads & Transport MMC, Kenny Kunene.
