Umjelo Non-Profit Organisation, has taken on the Herculean task of turning the impoverished Mamolweni village, on the coast in the former Transkei, into a flourishing community.
In this episode, Ted Keenan chats Templeton “Pinkie” Yoba about Umjelo’s objectives.

Yoba was born in the former Transkei, worked as an agriculture extension officer, was a regional manager of Tracor (Transkei Agriculture Co-operative) and a director in the office of the national director of the department of agriculture, forestry and fisheries. He retired in 2021.
