Nationwide bus strike looming in South Africa, warns Numsa

The National Union of Metal workers of South Africa (Numsa) is warning of a
looming national bus strike. It says the employer is not negotiating fairly and workers
wont hesitate to down tools. The union made three core demands in December
2023 to be implemented across the bus passenger sector which include full
compulsory healthcare, a 10% wage increase across the board. Phemelo speaks to
