FMR Bursary Trust Awards - Jazz 2024

The 53rd Youth Classical Concert was hosted by Artscape and the Cape Town Philharmonic Orchestra .Young classically trained singers and instrumentalists were offered the opportunity to perform with the orchestra on a professional stage, under the baton of Bernhard Gueller. Fine Music Radio broadcast the concert, hosted by Scilla Laing.

The finals of the 33rd Johann Vos Piano Competition took place in August at the Hugo Lambrechts Auditorium. Louise Howlett presents highlights from the Senior Division and Open Olive Lieberz Prize, which was broadcast on Sunday 15 September, kindly sponsored by the Friends of Orchestral Music.

The finals of the 2024 FMR Bursary Trust Awards celebrated the very best of classical, jazz and African music. They took place at the Baxter Concert Hall in July.
