Australia to ban children from social media

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese announced on Tuesday that his government intends to ban children from using social media. In a statement, Premier Albanese said that his Labor government will introduce legislation this year to enforce a minimum age for access to social media and other relevant digital platforms, News.Az reported, citing Anadolu Agency. As parents, Mfundo Mabalane is totally in support of this move by the Australian government, whereas Mpho Maboi is ambivalent towards the suggestion. Other parents shared their views on the notion.
