EP76 - Metabolic Mastery - with Kirsten Flanagan

--:--
Growing up as a world champion athlete Kirsten Flanagan developed a passion for understanding the science of nutrition, leading her a BSc in Human Physiology & Biochemistry, and a Medical Honours in Exercise Science.

Having experimented with many different nutritional strategies, Kirsten realised that achieving a state of ‘metabolic flexibility’ is the absolute foundation of nutrition. Not only does it provide a performance advantage; “it’s the key to a long and healthy career as an athlete.”

While traveling abroad after her studies, Kirsten had the unique opportunity to work alongside some incredible mentors, including Shawn Wells, early on in her career who have guided her and helped develop her global network in the nutrition, health and wellness space.

In this episode we chat about understanding your nutritional needs as well as the vital importance of dietary protein and tailoring your supplements.

Kirsten’s passion for health optimisation and biohacking keeps her actively learning and researching the latest health tools and technologies, and connecting with like-minded people.
